FoodSavr Hits 100 Installs on Google Play

May 31, 2026: FoodSavr just passed 100 installs on Google Play.

I know 100 is a small number. I am not going to dress it up. But to me it is 100 real kitchens that decided to give a tiny app a chance, and that means a lot.

FoodSavr started because I was tired of throwing out food I forgot I had. I built it for my own fridge first. Seeing a hundred other households use it to do the same thing is honestly the best part of my week.

To the parents logging groceries after the kids are finally asleep. To the students cooking for themselves for the first time. To the grandparents who snap a photo so they remember which shelf the dal is on. To everyone who scanned a receipt, asked Sous Chef what to cook, or got a reminder before the milk turned. Thank you.

You did not have to try something new. You did, and a lot of you stuck around. I read every piece of feedback that comes in, and plenty of what we shipped recently came straight from you.
