How to Add a New Kitchen or Pantry to FoodSavr

You can add more kitchens and pantries to FoodSavr to keep your groceries organized by location home kitchen, basement pantry, cottage, office, or anywhere else you store food. Here is how to set up a new one.

How to add a new kitchen or pantry

Adding a new space in FoodSavr takes just a few taps.

Step 1: Tap the dropdown near the current pantry name at the top of your inventory screen.

Step 2: Tap the "+" icon.

Step 3: Enter a name for your pantry and tap add.

Step 4: Your new pantry is ready. You can add or edit items as needed.

That is all there is to it. Each kitchen or pantry keeps its own inventory, so you always know what you have and where it lives.

Tips for organizing multiple pantries

- Name kitchens by location so they are easy to tell apart: "Main Kitchen", "Basement Pantry", "Food Truck 2".

- Switch between kitchens anytime from the same dropdown menu.

- Add items to the correct space right when you unpack groceries using receipt scan, photo capture, or barcode entry.

- Items in one kitchen do not affect quantities in others, useful if you keep staples in a basement pantry but shop weekly for your main fridge
